Bai Howin is the Beasts Professor in Hogwarts Legacy.

Bai Howin has a great respect for beasts, but also sees them as a useful resource for wizardkind. An encounter with an Occamy in her youth left her in awe of beasts, and she despises poachers who would waste them for Galleons.

In her view, beasts are to be valued for what they can provide for wizardkind: protective clothing, potion ingredients, and even wand cores. It is her mission to ensure that the next generation of witches and wizards understands this.
