PEEVES

Peeves has lived at Hogwarts Castle since its founding in c. 993. He is said to have "come with the building" and is believed to be a tangible manifestation of the students' mischief that has existed since the school's inception. He has been causing chaos and wreaking havoc at Hogwarts for centuries and has been a constant source of frustration for the teachers and staff.

Starting with Hankerton Humble, who was appointed by the Founders themselves, Peeves has traditionally been a thorn in the side of every caretaker the school has seen.
